ABOUT
I am Anjali - Curious by default. Structured by habit.
I care deeply about designing for public systems and everyday realities - stuff people can rely on without thinking twice. I love solving real problems alongside ambitious and whacky teams.
I've designed for commuters, drivers, designers, money savers, fashionistas, gamers and come to believe most of design is figuring out the right thing to solve.
I started in Indian startups, building from the ground up and iterating until things clicked. My background in fashion communication from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Delhi helps me bring a unique perspective of culture, people and curation to conversations.
I am currently pursuing a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction from Carnegie Mellon University, exploring how AI and emerging tech can shape better experiences. Back in industry full-time by August 2027 - let's talk :)
Design approach
I love when users break my ego. Using AI tools, I build rapid prototypes that quickly surface what feels intuitive and where the edge cases break. That's how assumptions get tested fast, and how the product ends up more bulletproof. Good research keeps me honest, and good systems keep good decisions from being one-offs.
I also enjoy working closely with product managers and engineers. I believe constantly polishing my fundamentals in business and code helps me stay knee-deep in solving the problem, instead of pushing pixels from a distance.
